Calendar Connection & Booking

Connect Google Calendar and see how the AI receptionist books, reschedules, and cancels appointments.

The AI receptionist can check your availability and book real appointments directly, but only once it's connected to a calendar.

Connecting your calendar

Right now we support Google Calendar. Connect it from /calendar-test by signing in with the Google account that owns the calendar you want appointments booked on.

Once connected, every booking, reschedule, and cancellation the AI receptionist makes shows up on that calendar in real time, no separate sync step needed.

How booking works on a call

During a call, the receptionist can:

  • Check availability for a requested day or time window before offering it to the caller.
  • Book a new appointment, with a summary, start/end time, and any notes from the conversation.
  • Look up an existing appointment by the caller's phone number, so callers don't need to know an appointment ID to change something.
  • Reschedule or cancel an appointment the caller already has.

It only offers times your calendar is actually free for, so it won't double-book you against events already on the calendar, including ones you added yourself outside the AI receptionist.

What if I don't connect a calendar?

The receptionist still answers calls and can take messages, but it won't be able to offer real appointment times or confirm a booking on the spot. Connecting a calendar is what turns it from "answers the phone" into "books the job."
